# OpenTyrian upstream attribution

The browser runtime bundled with this RCWeb app was downloaded from the published [`pelya/opentyrian-kaios`](https://github.com/pelya/opentyrian-kaios) GitHub Pages deployment on 31 August 2026. The deployment identifies that repository as its source; its artifacts report a last-modified date of 23 April 2021. Commit [`c0b25ae1833802a6121cbac418ceda99518039a4`](https://github.com/pelya/opentyrian-kaios/commit/c0b25ae1833802a6121cbac418ceda99518039a4) is the repository revision immediately preceding that published build date.

Bundled runtime artifacts:

OpenTyrian is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. `COPYING-GPL-2.0.txt` is copied from the upstream repository.

OpenTyrian requires the Tyrian 2.1 game data. The OpenTyrian project describes those files as freeware, but its FAQ notes that the original Tyrian data was released without a specific software license. The compressed `appdata.data` artifact contains those upstream data files together with the browser port's packaged resources.

Tyrian and OpenTyrian remain the work of their respective authors and contributors. This RCWeb wrapper is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
