Background compositions were cropped to remove the static waterline, then rebuilt from four overlapping regenerated detail sections per scene. Colour-matched feathering joins the sections into 4K JPEGs. Fish retain generated alpha, with nearly opaque tissue normalized to solid alpha. No runtime bloom or new rendering passes. WebGL evaluates narrow light shafts once per fish and shades its opaque RGB; Canvas retains the photographic highlights baked into the sprites.

The default population is 29: three silver dollars, three silver hatchetfish, four diamond tetras, nine rummy-nose tetras, seven black neon tetras and three Sterbai corydoras. Hatchetfish prefer upper water, tetras school and corydoras stay above the leaf bed. The category uses existing saved profiles, 5-minute scenery rotation and 4-second crossfades.
